The Boys - Too hot for TV, yet brilliant!

Ooh la la…some things are better left on the cutting floor. Amazon’s breakout series, The Boys, is making waves across the world as raunchy take on superheroes. And face it, the series is not scared to push the envelope when it comes to, you know, scenes that
might upset sensitive viewers.

But first, for those who are a bit out of the loop, here is a crash synopsis into the (amazing!) series: An irreverent take on what happens when superheroes abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It's the powerless against the super powerful as ''The Boys'' embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about ''The Seven'' and Vought—the multi billion dollar conglomerate that manages these superheroes.

The series is ridiculously violent, gory, puerile, and gross, and yet so much fun! However, there was one scene the Amazon bosses said a big NO! The Boys co-creator Epic Kripke explains….

"There was ONE SCENE that Amazon said F*** NO, you have to cut. I couldn't quite understand why considering everything else we have in the show, but: Homelander, after being dressed down by Stilwell in episode 2, was standing on one of the Chrysler building Eagles. He pulled his pants down and started jerking off, mumbling "I can do whatever I want" over and over again until he climaxed all over New York City. We shot it! Oh my God, Anthony was the BEST in that scene," he explained.
